Dissident (2026)

Set against the backdrop of 1960s Ukraine, a period when the Soviet Union and its Eastern Bloc allies were beginning to question the socialist status quo, Oleg emerges as a haunted relic of a forgotten war. Once a soldier in the Ukrainian Insurgent Army—a force that waged a double-front battle against Nazi occupiers and Soviet communists in the name of national sovereignty—Oleg now steps out of a prison camp under a new amnesty pact. Returning to his homeland, he searches for a foothold in a peacetime world that no longer has room for his ideals, his ghostly past, or his unyielding fight. But every attempt to reintegrate only deepens his isolation, leaving him a stranger in a land he once bled to liberate.
