A strange virus called Heterosis is spreading through Paris’s gay nightlife, magically flipping gay men straight overnight. Jim—once the chiseled, six-pack king of the Gym Queens—falls from his Pride throne to become a social pariah. Only Lucien, a sweet, newly-out twink with far more courage than muscle, stays by his side. Together, they must scramble to discover a cure before the epidemic wipes out the very community that once put Jim on a pedestal.

More About This Film

Jim Queen is a French animated comedy that imagines a strange epidemic sweeping through Paris's gay scene. Jim, a muscular influencer and self-styled king of the Gym Queens, suddenly finds his status threatened when a mysterious virus known as Heterosis begins changing the people around him.

Jim joins forces with Lucien, an unlikely companion, and the two travel through the Marais in search of a rumored cure. Directed by Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Athané, the film uses parody, queer self-mockery, and science-fiction to examine fame, identity, community, and social expectations.
