More About This Film

The Dreamed Adventure is an atmospheric drama set in the mountains of southeastern Bulgaria. Veska, an archaeologist working at an excavation site, reconnects with Saïd, an old acquaintance whose involvement in a dubious business draws her into a world that is increasingly difficult to separate from her own desires.

Valeska Grisebach combines romance, crime and social observation, creating a film that relies on landscape, nonprofessional performers and ambiguous relationships rather than conventional thriller mechanics. Yana Radeva, Syuleyman Alilov Letifov and Stoicho Kostadinov lead the cast.
