Elsewhere Starts Here and It's All Happening (2026)

Blending lyrical documentary storytelling with gentle comedy, this charming film follows two visual artists—an oil painter and a dedicated photographer—as they drift through Australia’s rugged Victorian bushland. Without a fixed itinerary or destination, the pair simply follow the shifting light, studying towering native timber and scanning the landscape for everyday locals who might inspire their next portrait. Part meditative nature study, part wry character sketch, the movie captures the quiet joy of unscripted creative wandering and the unexpected connections that form between artist, subject, and the wild surroundings.
