Marvelous Mornings (2026)

At her grandmother’s funeral, Charlie discovers a spot is already saved for her in the family crypt. Desperate for an escape, she personally delivers a crate of disco vinyls—her grandmother’s parting gift—to a wine merchant tucked away in a sleepy village in southern France. In this deserted seaside town, the records stir up painful echoes of loves long lost. Time moves differently here, stretching lazily while the locals drift between boredom and stillness. Charlie’s gaze is fixed only on Marina, the pizzeria’s waitress. Nothing seems to align the awkward, overly honest Charlie with the wounded, stormy Marina—yet sometimes, fate brings lost mermaids back together to heal.
